The following galleries are of photos from hill walks we have taken over the past couple of years. Some are part of the National Loop Walks.
This walk takes in three hills in the Dunkerron range, just west of Moll's Gap, the highest point on the Killarney-Kenmare road. In English the gap is named for Moll Kissane who ran a shebeen here when the road was built in the 1820s, from which she sold illegal whiskey (poitín). The Irish name, Céim an Daimh, "The Ox's Step", probably refers to something of myth.
