Hill Walks

The following galleries are of photos from hill walks we have taken over the past couple of years. Some are part of the National Loop Walks.

This walk is one of the National Looped Walks. It begins in the village of Ahakista on the Sheep's Head Peninsula and climbs up to the top of Seefin. Seefin derives from the Irish Suí Finn or "Fionn's Seat" and like the many other mountains in Ireland of this name, has some likely connection with the hero Fionn Mac Cumhaill. From its summit there are views north to the Bearra Peninsular and south to Mizen Head.
